Your Emotional Well-Being Educator

Hello! My name is Rossana and I’ve been teaching for 10+ years and am looking forward to having you in my next class.

Acceptance of Self Through Self Love Workshop

Would you like to unconditionally accept yourself for just being you? What is your inner voice telling you about yourself that you are believing? Are you ready to learn the tools and techniques that will begin to transform your life? Learning how to harness and to replace the voice of your own inner critic is a great way to raise your self-esteem. Unharnessed, it will drag you down. Begin (or continue) your transformational journey with this zoom workshop. Not only will you learn the tools and techniques to love yourself and accept you for you, you will also make the shift so that you can adapt to all the changes that are happening around the world.

This can only happen when the foundation is strong, when you have the ability to love and accept yourself. What better moment than during this time of so many unknowns to learn self-love and acceptance so that you can remove all those barriers that keep you living in constant fear, worry, and anxiety. Only when you choose to let go of the past, will you be able to use your energy to create the present you seek; no matter what the unexpected. Marie Currie said, “Nothing in life is to be feared; it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less.”

Why is Self-Acceptance Important?

No body is perfect. Everyone has their own shortcomings. But why is it that some can accept all of their imperfections, and some cannot. In fact, those who cannot, often times are fixated on all those imperfections making themselves more and more critical of everything the do and of who they are.

When you accept yourself, you are less worried about what others think. When that happens, you are more clear about what you think and are more confident about those thoughts. When that happens, you are less judgemental about yourself and others too!

Accepting yourself is good for your overall well-being. “Self-acceptance helps you feel better about yourself and makes you feel capable of dealing with life’s challenges.” —-MEGHAN MARCUM, PSYD

Why is Self-Love Important?

When you have self-love, you will most likely have a good relationship with yourself which in turn, promotes and builds your self-esteem. This is all important for your emotional well-being.

When you have self-love, you are kinder to yourself lowering feelings of anxiety and stress building your resilience.

When you don’t have self-love, you tend to be a people-pleaser and a perfectionist - always striving for something that may be unattainable and you may even tolerate abuse or mistreatment.

Self-love gives you the courage to be your authentic self, create healthy boundaries, and improve relationships.

In this workshop……you will……

  • embrace your values - it’s important to understand your values and beliefs. Aligning yourself with your values can help to strengthen your sense of identity and improve your self-worth.

  • develop healthy boundaries - everyone needs boundaries in all areas of life, from work, relationships, finance, and time. Don’t let others take you for granted.

  • forgive yourself - as I mentioned above, nobody is perfect and mistakes have been made. Acknowledge those mistakes and learn from them. Don’t hold on to them - learn to let go.

  • tame your inner critic - what are you telling yourself? Learn how to speak to yourself in a gentle, empowering, and uplifting way.

  • develop healthy motivation habits - what drives you? You will identify what really matters most to you.

My Teaching Philosophy

I believe that every individual has the right to realize their full potential and align their actions with their life purpose. In order to make lasting changes, it is not enough to simply provide clients with the tools and techniques needed. I am committed to helping people develop a long-lasting plan of action that they will use on their journey to help them gain confidence, self-esteem, and become resilient to changes that are beyond their control. I offer a safe, non-judgemental, and inclusive environment for all sessions whether in a group or one-on-one setting.

Here’s what recent participants had to say about this workshop:

“After taking the Acceptance of Self Workshop, I’m reminded that no matter where we are in life, there are universal issues and themes in our lives that when coming together and discussing our problems in a secure and safe space, helps us to know that we are not alone.
The exercise on finding and stopping your Inner Critic was done in a very methodical way, which helped me to identify what keeps me “stuck” in life and prevents me from expanding my boundaries. Rossana provided us with many tools that will help me to become aware of how I put limits on myself and how to expand my boundaries.”

Beatrice, Richmond Hill

“The workshop was quite beneficial as I am currently on a spiritual journey. One of the areas I am currently focused on is accepting criticism. In order to do this I need to accept my imperfect self.

The tools & practices used in this workshop were very insightful. I have adopted a few new practices from the workshop in my daily routine. I especially like the Hawaiian Kahuna Prayer. It is new to me and I feel the effects immediately.”
